This assignment is meant to give you a well rounded view of the Holocaust and its affect on society then and now. With your group, you will be assigned a certain area of focus such as Holocaust victims or Hitler. You will create a "Time Magazine" article to report on different pieces of your assigned topic. This will make you an expert one point of view. After your group is done, all groups will present their research and article. Through this step, you will learn about other points of view.
The article must have a title, all authors, at least two photos/charts, a minimum of 800 words, and two primary resources (in addition to secondary resources if necessary). The writing should be clear and accurate. The assignment could be completed on Microsoft Publisher or a similar program. It should be completed as though the Holocaust JUST ended and the world is just discovering what happened. Write you article as though the readers know nothing about the event - they should be shocked by what you have to say and show to them.
